Day two for this painting. I am working over a drawing that was done on a simple sheet of watercolor paper. The drawing was then toned using acrylic and the rough value scheme was painted, also in acrylic. I then went to work in oil, mainly using a simple cool grisaille. Day two consisted of a Liquin coat so I would work into it wet. I glazed down the first days painting with a muddy green, then worked up the light again, this time using color. I want to experiment more with this as a way to conceptualize new paintings and use them to help me define color in larger works.
